Well written, and made my eyes wet.
Made me think of my son, and how that's exactly what I want him to learn about himself and say about me when I pass away: "It’s not what I wear or eat... It’s who I am as a person."

Thank you for sharing this with me.

Nice story. This is a proof that if you truly believe, something really good will happen especially the ones that you prayed hard for.

Hi Nicole! Beautifully written and an interesting point. I'm not sure that the fact that Osama made so much more noise than Holocaust Day has much more to do with the fact that Osama is news--an incredibly significant, and symbolic piece of news--whereas the Holocaust is not news. It's a tragic story that we know, and is fortunately behind us, even if we must dilligently revisit its lessons all the time. Maybe the two "events" are apples and oranges, and if so perhaps twitter isn't the best measurement of their impact and resonance. But a very original take on things, great writing, and good for you on the blog! It looks great!

Nicole,
I am chaffed at your erudite discourse about your new life. It's fascinating. A little scary too! But you seem to have taken to it with a touch of grace.
I think you will do OK.
Stay well old friend.
